To be considered, candidates will have:

* Broad knowledge across the range of general insurance disciplines (underwriting, product, distribution, actuarial, claims etc)
* Strong knowledge of general insurance financials
* Experience operating at a senior management level, most likely as part of a business unit leadership team
* Track record of achieving outcomes through influencing senior levels of an organisation
* Proven track record in initiating and developing external business / commercial relationships with a range of senior stakeholders
* Sound knowledge of practices relating to financial and risk management as practiced in mature insurance markets
* Microsoft Office skills



Also highly regarded will be:

* Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field and/or general insurance qualifications
