Report to Project Manager and its deputy, the incumbent will be responsible to:
* Provide consecutive verbal/ written communications and reports, during audiences and of statements at conferences, meetings, discussions, proper, clear, faithful interpretation from English/ Bahasa Indonesia into Mandarin (vice versa) during various occurrences and communicate with Chinese contractors using the standard, clear and accurate language to support the operations smoothly.
* Check appropriate references to ensure exact understanding and use of common technical terminologies. Consult colleagues, specialized and technical dictionaries/ glossaries
* Perform other related duties that may be assigned by the Project Deputy related to language interpretations
* Keep harmonious relationship with Chinese workers and maintain effective communications with Project Team
General Requirements:
* Candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages or Social Humanities or such discipline and an Interpreting qualification from a recognised Interpretation institute,
* Candidates must have at least 3 - 5 years of progressively relevant working experience in Interpretation in international meetings on diverse issues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; Excellent communication skills; Ability to work under pressure
* Computer literacy is a must to provide any business reports (MS – Office)
