Business Development Manager - Mobility Products – 211415

Description
Position Objectives:

Build a strong sales and channel motion for commercial desktops. To lead the business development efforts into the commercial and corporate space and increase HP share of the business.

Overall Major responsibilities:

Understand and articulate the competitive situations, channel and customer needs. Design, develop, deploy and manage key marketing objectives, strategies, initiatives and plans to achieve country goals for commercial desktops.
Increase market presence & coverage through well defined channel development startegies in partnership with the Channel management organization.
Focus on development of both run rate as well as transactional business. Balance the business portfolio to delivered the desired internal revenue and profitability goals.


Develop appropriate FINAL TIER channel strategies to ensure continued sell-out and share of wallet

Manage the product life cycle for all products in the category

Conduct sales training to resellers and Sales teams during new product introduction and refresher training & provide enduser product training

Build/track competitive information and provide feedback to APJ region for program adjustment to meet competitors’ activities

Business Development Manager Responsibilities :

Provide forecast Monthly to ensure Supply Chain can effectively deliver according to Customer expectations and to match Funnel Major Accts fcsts

Execute Product Rollover to minimize product offering shortage and gap to market

Execute well-timed New Product Introduction that ties with end-of-line products and balance customer’s satisfaction

Provide Sales Training to channel partners, Sales teams and Product Training to End-Customers


Business Development Responsibilities :

Build Sales Funnel by Customer Acct, By Segment and By Country

Provide and maintain Market Analyses and Trends of Large / Enterprise and also SMB segment space

Provide in-depth product knowledge to arm Technical Consultants and Sales Teams.

Work in tandem with Sales Teams to Win over Accts

To lead path breaking into targetted accounts and manage the cycle of identification, evangelizing , proposaling, closure and deployment in conjunction with hP sales and channel partners.


Customer Satisfaction:

Establish effective and favorable relationships with all customers and key linkages
Ensure all issues are follow-up closely with closures documented
Maintain timely, consistent, high quality communications with all customers
Build credibility and earn the respect of your customers as a value added resource

Qualifications

your profile

Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in business or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant experience.
Sound knowledge of Commercial computing .

Prior experience in product management will be an added advantage.

Previous category management experience desirable

A self-motivated, go-and-get approach and the will to win
Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills
An organized, team approach
Fluent English and local language skills

Experience in one or more of the following areas:
End-user customer sales
Category/ Product Management experience.
Product demonstrations, customer training and product installation responsibilities
Business Planning and category strategies

Working with external partners to deliver solution sales
Interface with all levels in customer organization
Coordination or teamleading with other sales professionals
Project management role
Business Plan development
