PURCHASING BUSINESS ANALYST ( Asst. Manager ) Code : PBA
Purpose of the Job :
Reporting to Purchasing Manager, will be responsible to analyze market / industry trends to arrive at strategic decisions with respect to company major input chemical and support material in terms of price, time and quantities to order & stocks to maintain
Responsibilities :
* Constant interaction with major vendors to understand industry situation
* Study all variables affecting a given product
* Update knowledge on a continuous basis by referring to journals, magazines, tech literature world wide web, attending seminars and exhibition with a view to gather background information to formulate strategies
* Search alternative vendor of products for every major input material
* Organize visit to manufacturing plants to understand production process involved in the making of given products
Requirements :
* Male or Female, S2 degree of MM or MBA, GPA > 3,0
* Has minimum experience of min. 3 years in consultancy firms or manufacturing plants
* Strong analytical thinking, negotiation skill, interpersonal skill, willingness to learn
* Conversant with English (Oral / written) is must
* Conversant with MS office operation
* Age < 35years
