CONTENT WRITER CUM EDITOR

Responsibilities:
* We are looking for a professional who is gifted and experienced in a wide range of editorial skills: research and copy generation, features and news-writing, clear English editing, repurposing for new audiences, promotional and direct mail writing, producing manuals and guides, writing for the web, sub-editing, product naming etc.
* Ideally, you should have a number of years’ post-qualification experience as a journalist, public relations consultant, writer, editor or as a sub-editor in a newspaper, magazine or an online media company. Experience in online communications, marketing and/or usability will be a bonus. You will work in close partnership with designers, web specialists, print managers and other communications professionals and at times, will manage the work of freelances or agencies, ensuring that they have a full grasp of the task involved and that their output is of the highest standard.

Requirements:
* We need you to have a University degree in journalism, communication, international relations, political or social sciences. Your professional competencies should include the following: Excellent writing & editing skills, excellent command of the English Language & Bahasa Melayu, excellent analysis and project management, excellent interpersonal communication, judgment, decision-making and organizing skills.
